With regulatory changes, Residential Science Resources split into two companies, one to preform home energy ratings while the other did the implementation work. So Simple Energy Testing was born, and this video was designed to help retain our teams reputation in the industry while also educating home builders on the new standards. I decided to make a text-style explainer video with a simple color theme and quick transitions. I wanted to make what might be inconvenient news to builders at least fun to watch.
